United States, the suit of Richard Nixon's estate to recover the value of White House records taken by the federal government after the Watergate Affair, 1972-1974; the 1980 Abscam Bribery Scandal case (United States v. Jenrette), the political corruption case of John W. Jenrette; cases brought by the victims of the assassination attempt on President Ronald Reagan to recover damages from John W. Hinckley Jr. and gun manufacturers; the property tax case, Kelly v. District of Columbia; and a medical malpractice abortion case, Robert J. Sherman. Office files chronicle Penn's activities with the Judicial Conference of the District of Columbia Circuit and the Judicial Conference of the United States.
